Working with PIXL8

We believe in clear, friendly communication—no confusing legalese here. Below is a straightforward rundown of how we work together, including pricing, project steps, deliverables, and what you can expect. Think of it as our agreement—a simple handshake to keep everything on track.

Pricing & payment

Every project is unique. We’ll discuss your goals and then give you a tailored quote (pricing is “by agreement”). There are no hidden fees, and the quote will spell out what’s included.

To reserve our time, we typically ask for a 50% deposit up front. The remaining 50% is invoiced when the work is complete and you’re happy with the result.

payment terms

Invoices are due within 14 days. If needed, we can arrange milestone payments or a different schedule on agreement.

Project scope & timeline

Before we start, we’ll agree on the project scope (e.g. number of designs, pages, or deliverables) and timelines. This ensures we all know what to expect. If you decide to expand the project later, we’ll discuss how that affects cost and timeline.

Deadlines

We aim to meet the agreed deadlines. However, creative work can be iterative. If anything shifts (new ideas, unexpected delays, etc.), we’ll communicate promptly and adjust the schedule together. Your project will never just disappear off our radar.

Changes

If you need to pause or change the project scope midstream (for example, add a new feature or remove something), just tell us. We’ll review the impact together and adjust the timeline or price as needed.

Feedback & revisions

We build in review points (for example, after initial concepts or mockups). This is your chance to give feedback. We include a few rounds of revisions in our process to fine-tune the designs.

Your feedback keeps the project moving. If you take a long time to respond, the project timeline extends. We appreciate quick responses (within a few business days) so we can keep creative momentum going.

Additional Charges

Once you approve the final designs and settle the final invoice, the project is complete. Any extra tweaks after that would be considered new work and would be billed accordingly. (Don’t worry—we’ll make sure you love the design before we reach “final.”)

Deliverables & ownership

After final payment, you’ll receive all the final design files we promised (such as logo files, source files, mockups, etc.), in the agreed formats.

Once the project is done and paid for, you own the rights to use the final deliverables in your business. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio or marketing (unless you prefer we keep it private).

Any initial drafts or concepts that aren’t used are usually discarded, but if we developed something interesting, we might keep it. Feel free to let us know if you want all unused drafts deleted.

Confidentiality and privacy

Everything you share with us (your branding guidelines, confidential data, business plans, etc.) is treated as confidential. We won’t share your information or work in progress with anyone.

If you need an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), we’re happy to sign one before starting. Just let us know—we want you to feel secure.

Communication

Typically we communicate with our clients by email.

We ask that you reply to our messages and review requests within a reasonable time (e.g. a few business days). The faster you respond, the faster we can create your designs.

We’ll update you regularly on progress. If anything urgent comes up, we promise to let you know right away. We treat this project as a true partnership – open communication both ways is key.

Cancellations

If either party needs to cancel the project early, we’ll have a chat about it. You’d pay for the work completed up to that point (including any deposits or hours logged). We’ll confirm what’s done and settle up. Our goal is to be fair and transparent.

We aim to keep everything straightforward. If any of this isn’t clear or you want more details, just ask us!

We will be happy to walk you through any part of our process.
